What is GBEOP?

The Greater Binghamton Education Outreach Program (GBEOP) is a non- profit affiliate organization of the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce.

GBEOP’s mission is to build bridges between schools, businesses and leaders within the Greater Binghamton community to promote technical and professional career development for current and future workforce participants.

GBEOP uses JA to teach business concepts to students in grades K-12. GBEOP allows hundreds of local students each year to better understand the practical applications of their education. This also means thousands of graduating seniors each year have gained firsthand business knowledge before they enter the workforce. GBEOP and JA bring business and education together to build a better future for our community.

The STEAM Pathways event provides a timely opportunity for middle and high school students and their parents to explore opportunities in STEAM careers. However, it goes one step further, by helping these families clearly understand the educational pathways to attaining these meaningful careers, as well as supports and assistance available to them.
